We are looking for a Curriculum Development Intern with a love for content creation, Python knowledge, and teaching experience to join our team. The intern will assist in developing an engaging, comprehensive curriculum to teach Python to beginners. This role provides a unique chance to influence how students and teachers experience coding, turning it into a journey of discovery and joy. The position is remote.
Design an engaging Python curriculum for beginners, including lesson plans, learning objectives, and assessments, blending educational goals with fun, interactive content.
Ensure that the curriculum aligns with our mission to make coding fun, accessible, and appealing to a wide audience.
Explore the use of Generative AI and any other cutting-edge technology in the curriculum development process.
Conduct research on teaching strategies and materials to ensure the curriculum remains up-to-date and effective.
Help ensure that the curriculum is practical, engaging, and aligned with various coding standards.
Participate in testing and revision cycles to continuously improve the curriculum based on feedback.
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a STEM or Education-related degree program.
Strong Python skills and a solid understanding of coding principles.
Experience with teaching or tutoring, whether in a formal or informal context.
Proven eagerness to experiment with new technologies.
Strong written English skills.
Passion for education and a commitment to making coding accessible to all.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Creative problem-solving skills and a 'can-do' attitude.
A commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
