About Killer Snails (https://www.killersnails.com/)

Killer Snails, an ed tech company funded by the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, and the Institute of Educational Sciences, is looking to bring on an intern to help with the development of a collaborative science game.

Killer Snails develops award-winning learning games and immersive virtual reality experiences that explore scientific topics through play.

The focus of this internship will be contributing to the development of VenomCoLab, a collaborative web- and augmented reality learning experience for 6-8th graders. VenomCoLab puts students in the role of scientists collaboratively solving an exciting real-world science problem: finding new therapies based on the venom of extreme creatures like scorpions, snakes, and cone snails. The intern will have the opportunity to pitch ideas for activities, contribute to ongoing design work, attend playtests, and analyze and implement feedback from expert scientists, educators, and student users.
