NYU Meyers + Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing Learning Designer Internship

HIGN is a major thought leader in the advancement of research, practice, and policy across the healthcare continuum for older adults. Driven by innovation and research, we aim to revolutionize the ways in which older people age, navigate the healthcare system and receive person-centered care. Through evidence-based education, we prepare thousands of nurses and other members of the healthcare team to deliver age-friendly care, and inform federal, state and local policymakers to ensure safe and equitable healthcare for older adults.
Opportunity Description: Spring 2025
We are seeking a motivated intern from the LTXD Program who has an interest in developing instructional design skills. You will have the opportunity to use a variety of platforms to create meaningful healthcare learning materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
No background in nursing or the medical field is required
Creative problem-solving, good communication and listening, self-motivated, and organized.
Internship Details:
Length – Takes place from Jan 21 - May 6th for 12 hours/week
# of interns – 1 graduate student
Compensation – Unpaid, 3-credits towards your degree
Location – 100% remote (Student will need access to a Windows computer whether that be personal or an onsite NYU computer)
