Computers, Equipment & Software

The 5th floor at 370 Jay st is the home for all ECT (phD, LTXD and G4L) students, faculty and affiliates.
Access to 370 Jay st is open door from M-F 8am-8pm, after that you must swipe in. Access is closed between 11pm-8am.  Please contact Donald Brooks, our ECT Facilities and Space Manager (db4857@nyu.edu) if you have questions or to report concerns or suggestions!

Computers and Software

ECT has  5high end multimedia computers in our Student workspace area at 370 Jay st. Four of these are MACs and two are PCs. Click here to see a current list of software and where computers are located.

Study and Project Space 

Students are welcome to work individually or in groups in the student workspace area, study nooks, phone booths, kitchen (which includes a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, water, etc.), and to use whiteboards, printers and supplies. Please clean up after yourself when you're done!
