• NYU Makerspace - located in Brooklyn, this is an amazing place to prototype ideas and learn new skills

• NYC EdTech Meetup - This NY based meetup group has a large membership in the NY area and hosts frequent events.

• EdTech Women Meetup - EdTechWomen is a networked community for women and their supporters in education technology. EdTechWomen is inspired by women’s overarching influence in education. As educators, consumers, activists, organizational leaders, and mothers, women are the primary decision-makers when it comes to education.

• Children's Media Association - Children's Media Association (CMA) is a nonprofit organization comprised of professionals who are committed to creating and distributing thoughtful, entertaining media to children and young adults.
