The ECT Alumni Ambassadors made waves this Fall semester (and this year)! Here are some highlights:
Our annual Unconference this year welcomed nearly 100 attendees and featured a dozen remarkable presenters, making the second annual event a resounding success. This year marked a significant milestone as we hosted the Unconference in a hybrid format for the first time to reach a broader audience. A massive thank you goes out to our incredible panelists, presenters, CoNNECT volunteers, as well as the invaluable support from the ECT department, the ALT staff, Campus Media team, and Steinhardt Alumni Affairs, for making this event possible.
This year’s Unconference and CoNNECT were spotlighted in an NYU Steinhardt News article, showcasing the incredible efforts behind these events. Give it a read to hear more about the amazing work that’s being done!
We also extend our deepest gratitude to all the attendees who joined us, both in-person and virtually, for making the event vibrant and engaging with your energy and insights.
For those who couldn’t attend, or for anyone who wants to revisit the sessions, here are the recordings. These recordings will be viewable until December 15th, 2024.
On November 14th, ECT joined forces with the NY EdTech community to host an incredible NY EdTech Meetup at our campus on 370 Jay Street.
EdTech enthusiasts gathered to network, share ideas, and connect with innovators in the field.
Thank you to everyone who attended and made the event such a success! We’re thrilled to have brought together such a vibrant community of passionate individuals, and we can’t wait to see you at future events.
If you missed this one, don’t worry—this is just the beginning! The NY EdTech Meetup will be a regular event, giving you plenty of chances to join the fun and connect with this amazing community. Stay tuned for details about the next meetup—we can’t wait to see you there!
We had the privilege of hosting Sarah Walker, COO, and Anish Patel, Head of Business Operations at Slack, for an insightful discussion on their experiences as industry leaders. Attendees enjoyed the unique opportunity to connect with them in an intimate setting. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and made this event truly memorable!
If you need a question answered, some job prep, or anything else that may help in your academic and career development, submit a request to get connected with our team of volunteer students and alumni from the program to help you out!
