Become deeply immersed in the science and the art of creating learning experiences and products grounded in practices such as human-centered design, instructional design, design thinking, and user research.

Upon completing this specialization, you'll have the skills to:
Iteratively frame a design problem through understanding and empathizing with users, utilizing a range of UX research methods (interviews, observations, think-aloud, participatory design)
Use a learner-centered and human-centered approach to iteratively design educational experiences and products
Utilize UX methods such as sketching, ideation, personas, empathy maps, analysis, prototyping to develop and present to stakeholders
Develop strong collaboration and other interpersonal skills to work and lead teams
Requirements
To complete this specialization, you'll need to complete 3 elective courses relevant to User Experience or Product Design. Note that you can only take 2 electives outside the ECT programs.

- ** Note to LTXD students: since you are required to take User Experience Design as part of your core foundations, this will not count towards the three.
