EliteGamingLIVE (EGL) is the first K-12 esports company in the country and is at the intersection of esports and K-12 STEM education. EGL’s core focus is to improve the futures of students by providing accessible experiences that fuse gaming and learning. 


EGL’s platform fuses technological education with interscholastic, competitive gaming. In EGL's esports league, players in grades 3-12 advance to interschool championships by playing the video games they love (i.e. Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Madden, Fifa, etc.) in live competitions against their teammates and by learning about career pathways in STEM related to video games (i.e. Audio Engineering, Game Artistry, Cloud Engineering, etc.) on the EGL online learning platform. 


About the Internship: Motion Design Intern (Summer & Fall)

We are seeking a talented and motivated Part-Time Motion Designer to join our product team to contribute to the refinement of current platform features and conduct testing and research on new features. 

As a Motion Designer at EliteGamingLIVE, you will play a crucial role in translating ideas and concepts into visually appealing and functional designs that resonate with our user base of educators, students and parents. 

This is a remote part-time position with a minimum expectation of 12 hours/week, offering the flexibility to collaborate with our team while working from your preferred location.

● Paid (Stipend $3500)

Responsibilities: 

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project/feature requirements and objectives. 

● Create 3D assets and animations for interactive lessons. 

● Collaborate with designers to ensure consistency in the motion language and inject slick experiences to the EGL platform. 

● Test specific features weekly and report on findings with your input/suggestions on possible improvements. 

Qualifications: 

● Proficiency in major motion graphics software such as After Effects, Spline, and Cinema 4D. 

● Proficiency in design software such as FIGMA. 

● Knowledge of any CSS animations is a plus. 

● Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 

● Attention to detail and a commitment to contributing to high-quality user experiences that align with the company's brand. 

● Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
