Early-Adopter is an immersive learning company with a focus on augmented reality and virtual reality experiences for education. We have developed several currently in market product offerings, such as Chronoquest; the augmented reality timeline, Arcana: The Lost Library; an educational experience developed for teaching users about the history of space travel, and VR Quest; a collaborative VR social studies platform. We are currently in development of Earthquest, a standards aligned VR educational experience for physical sciences education. We work directly with schools and our distribution partners to develop experiences that leverage game-based and inquiry-based learning to produce our market-ready products.
The internship will focus on researching and designing for the use of our products in school settings. We have numerous products in the education market, so a potential intern would be placed with a product team working on subject matter that meets their interests and expertise.
We’re interested in examining the benefits of using AR and VR in learning environments, impact and intervention based studies to evaluate our products, and user testing.
We’re looking for curious, critical thinkers that are interested in K-12 education from a commercial perspective and are interested in working with a mid-sized team of technologists, designers, and engineers
