NYU Tandon Online
This position supports course development projects at Tandon (School of Engineering) Online by assisting with the creation of instructional materials. Additionally, the position helps the Manager for Online Program Quality develop rubrics for online courses and instructional material, apply those rubrics to existing courses, and develop recommendations for improving course quality.

Course Development and Quality Assurance
Summary
This position supports course development projects and online course offerings at Tandon Online by assisting with the creation of instructional materials, assisting in implementing quality review processes, and analyzing data related to online learning outcomes.
Responsibilities
Review course material against department quality rubrics, and document/complete revisions needed to bring material into alignment with rubrics
Assist in designing, developing, and revising course materials in consultation with instructional designers and faculty
Propose and develop creative ways to engage students and improve learning and retention
Propose, design, and develop instructional materials for extracurricular activities in
online programs, e.g., student orientations
Required Skills
Attention to detail
Ability to learn new software and tools quickly
Understanding of instructional design principles/processes and online learning best practices
Interest in quality assurance in education and online learning
Experience with Articulate products, Brightspace, and NYU Stream preferred
