Interested in joining a mission-driven nonprofit company focused on building online educational tools powered by machine learning? Quill.org is looking for a technical project manager to work closely with our leadership team in managing our roadmap, driving new features through our product development process, and owning other company-wide initiatives.
At Quill, we’ve created an online learning platform to help K-12 students improve their reading and writing ability. Our pedagogy is based on years of research that shows that once students understand the logic behind constructing sentences, their ability to read and write improves dramatically. Unlike common multiple-choice-based learning tools, our tools allow students to practice writing sentences and passages in their browser, while still receiving real-time, focused feedback.
Help millions of students improve their reading and writing comprehension.
Work with people across the organization as the primary project manager for a number of new products and features, including maintaining project timelines, mapping responsibilities, identifying dependencies, and defining success criteria.
Manage our product board and product backlog, making sure everything is current, and adding specifications/documentation as needed.
Run our product team meetings, including sprint planning meetings and retrospectives, and work with our engineering team to identify sprint capacity.
Work closely with our Senior Leadership Team to keep our product roadmap up to date, including helping prioritize projects and break them into individual tasks, maintaining our timeline and keeping our roadmap consistent with our product boards.
Serve as our project contact for a new partnership with a key external partner, including maintaining the project timing and driving implementation of security and privacy requirements.
Conduct periodic reviews of key metrics and share how products are performing against metrics/KPIs.
